The new ArtSpace exhibit (“Landscapes of New England”) features impressionistic paintings by Pat Little. Come in and see these scenes come together in amazing detail as you get some distance from them. This exhibit will be on display through October 20.

This Saturday, Sept. 30, there will be a special Story Hour at 9 a.m., followed by a Cartoon Workshop at 10:30 a.m, which will focus on putting words together to support the story.

Don’t forget that the ArtsBus will be visiting Tunbridge Village next Saturday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m., bringing creative fun for kids of all ages. Look for the ArtsBus near the church as part of the “Everything Apple” Harvest Celebration.

Consider coming by next Wednesday evening, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. for the next gathering of fiber artists in the valley. Whether its learning a new technique, sharing a project, or just enjoying great company, take this time out of your week to relax and regroup.

The library staff is grateful to Roberta Henault for her mobile of origami peace cranes. It’s always the right time to remind ourselves of small ways we can lift each other up and encourage one another.

Regular library hours are Monday and Wednesday, 3-8 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 3-6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, call 889-9404.
