Vt. State Grange Fall Festival

The Vermont State Grange Fall Festival will be September 8-10 at the Grange Hall at 308 West Street in Brookfield.

The event will open Friday, Sept. 8 with a potluck dinner at 5 p.m., followed by a movie.

Exhibits of crafts, home goods, canned goods, baked goods, eggs, honey, syrup, jams, vegetables and flowers will be on display on Saturday, and can be brought in Friday evening, and on Saturday by 10 a.m.

Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m. Meanwhile, there will be games and a chance to learn photography, along with a talk on invasive species.

An auction of produce and winning entries starts at 3:30 p.m. and a stuffed roast pork dinner with all the fixings will begin at 5 p.m. A lesson on the fun of line dancing at 7 p.m., will conclude the evening.
