(Provided) Stagecoach’s Passenger Guide, developed in collaboration with Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission, won second place in a national “excellence in communication” contest sponsored by the National Rural Transit Assistance Program (National RTAP).

“Our Passenger Guide demonstrates the high level of skill and professionalism of our community relations team,” said Jim Moulton, Tri-Valley Transit’s executive director.

This spring Addison County Transit Resources (ACTR) and Stagecoach Transportation Services Inc. (Stagecoach) formally merged to form Tri-Valley Transit.

Entries for the contest were reviewed and winners were chosen by a panel of judges, consisting of National RTAP’s communications and marketing team and senior staff members.

The brochures were judged on creativity and effectiveness in communicating transportation and schedule information.

“The annual contest is designed to recognize the important role communications plays in advancing access to public transportation,” said Robin Phillips, National RTAP’s executive director. “It also seeks to inspire higher levels of performance among our members.”
