Randolph F&G Offers Bow Hunter Course

The Randolph Fish and Game Club will be holding its annual Vermont Fish and Wildlife Fall Bow Hunter Education Course on Sunday, Aug. 27.

To obtain the Bow and Arrow card, participants must have completed the regular Hunter Ed. course first. However, the card can be held until the regular Hunter Ed course is complete.

Full attendance on the 27th is necessary for the Bow course, and it is required that all participants have completed the Online VT Fish and Wildlife course prior to attendance and have proof of completion. Pre-registration is required.

Hunter Education

The Club will also be holding their fall two-day Hunter Education Course on Sundays, Sept. 10 and 24.

First-time hunters must successfully complete a Hunter Education course in order to purchase their first license. Full attendance on both September 10 and 24 is required and completion of the workbook or the On-line Course materials prior to the start of the second day is mandatory.

Both courses are free for all participants, including materials, and the Club welcomes all ages, genders, and levels of outdoor experience.

Randolph Fish & Game Club encourages participation by community members with or without family outdoor traditions. The Fish and Game Club is handicap accessible.

Both courses will run from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Preregisterby calling Robert or Mary Raskevitz at 802-728-9582 or on the F&W website is required.

Students are to dress according to the weather, bring a lunch, something to write on and something to write with. Parents, grandparents and families are encouraged to participate with their children.

There is a limit to the number of students able to register and the courses generally fill up quickly, so don’t put it off, call now.
