Choices for Lister

And Selectboard

In the upcoming town elections on March 1, I would like to encourage Randolph residents to vote for Frank Reed, who is running for the three-year term on the Randolph Selectboard. Frank has been active in town government, having served on the planning commission, the solid waste committee, and two Exit 4 committees.

He is currently serving on the development review board, and is chairing the energy committee.

Outside to town government, he is a past board president of the Boys and Girls Club. This background of experience in town government give him a good understanding of how the town operates, which is necessary to anyone serving on the selectboard.

As one of the local listers, I would also encourage residents to re-elect Don Sweetser as lister. The job of lister is governed primarily by state statutes, and is not an easy one; requiring the willingness to attend educational sessions in addition to the work in the field with the town appraiser, and meeting with individual taxpayers who have questions.

Don currently serves as chairman of the listers, and does an excellent job. We need this knowledge and experience on our board, and ask that Randolph voters will support us by voting for Don.
