STOCKRBIDGE—Ruth A. Perron, 85, died Friday morning, Aug. 18, 2006 at her home.

She was born June 3, 1921 in Stockbridge, the daughter of Arthur W. and Addie (Chamberlain) Perron. She was a lifetime Stockbridge resident, and had worked for Van Raalte until 1963, then for Waterbury Plastics for 20 years until retirement.

She was a member of the Quin-Town Senior Center in Hancock, the Gaysville Community Church, and the Mite Society at that church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, knitting, and baking.

Survivors include her brother, Frank E. Perron, Sr., of Sharon; nieces: Louise Caron, Beverly Lenk, and Beatrice Cole, all of South Royalton; nephews: Fred Perron Jr., of Rockton, Ill.; Winston A. Perron of Montpelier, Frank E. Perron, Jr., of North Pomfret, Eugene L. Perron of Quechee, and Duane Perron of South Royalton; 20 great-nieces and nephews, and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Fred Perron S*r.; and sisters-in-law, Bertha Perron and Ethel Perron.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Gaysville Community Church, with Rev. Paul Dinger officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery on Stockbridge Common. Calling hours were held Tuesday evening, Aug. 22 at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
