The Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced that their search for a Chamber Director had concluded right in Randolph. Lynn Irish has accepted the position and her work begins immediately.

Irish has been the Chamber’s Executive Assistant for the past two years, serving the RACC in this capacity by fostering good relationships in the community and providing assistance as needed.

"We’re very pleased with this appointment as Lynn brings her energy, enthusiasm and loyalty to her new position," said Edna Burnett of the RACC.

Irish’s primary goal as Chamber Director is to maintain it as a community business partnership. She will advocate promoting and advancing the Chamber’s mission and the visibility of all RACC members. Much of her work as Director will be to foster the existing good relationships the Chamber has with affiliated organizations such as the Town of Randolph, RACDC, the State Regional Marketing Organization, and the Vt. Assoc. of Chamber Executives.

"With the support and teamwork of the Chamber Board of Directors and Officers, Lynn will provide leadership and service to the membership and to the business community," Burnett noted. "You can expect to continue seeing her in your shops and at the many special events that the Chamber runs. She hopes you’ll call or stop in anytime for help."

"If I don’t know the answer, I will know where to find it," Irish said. "That’s what Chambers do best."

Irish and her husband Gary have lived with their family in South Royalton for the past 25 years. She brings with her an intimate knowledge of the Randolph marketplace as she has shopped, lived and worked in this area for all of those years.
